Food & Fun on the Grand Strand

It’s an indisputable fact that there is an astounding selection of stunning golf courses along the Grand Strand. While this is true, there is also an endless choice of fine dining, and deciding where to eat can drive one absolutely dilly. It doesn’t matter what your palate desires, we guarantee that you will find a restaurant that will more than satisfy your hunger needs and also provide you with several hours of fun and laughter with your mates.

Here’s a snapshot of five fabulous restaurants that we feature:

We start in the charming seaside town of Southport, NC where you will find family-owned and operated, Bella Cucina. Bella Cucina is a Tuscan style restaurant that features everything from fine Italian dining to hand-tossed pizza.

Stepping into the restaurant reveals tantalizing aromas of authentic Italian cooking and the atmosphere is one of “welcome home, lets all eat and be joyful”.

A little further south in delightful Little River, SC sits Casa Villa. One of the best Mexican restaurants along the Grand Strand, the atmosphere at Casa Villa is very upbeat and festive.

Featuring a variety of Mexican food that is sure to please even the toughest food critic. Their full service bar serves refreshing margaritas, Mexican and American beers and a variety of mixed drinks. Guests also have the choice of dining indoors or outdoors.

Also located in Little River, SC is another fine Italian restaurant along the Grand Strand, Chianti South. Serving a stunning blend of old and new traditional Italian cuisine, guests will love the atmosphere of this restored colonial home that sits under an umbrella of ancient live oaks.

Enjoy outdoor dining on a deck that is reminiscent of a Tuscan Estate Courtyard where exotic flowers, gorgeous plants and the sound of dripping water from an elegant fountain sets the mood.

Traveling further south into the heart of Myrtle Beach finds us at Rioz Brazilian Steakhouse. This award winning restaurant is deliciously unique from any other steakhouse along the Grand Strand. Rioz features a massive salad bar that contains hot and cold items including seafood and sushi. While very impressive, the salad bar is just the beginning, just wait until you experience the continuous serve of more than 15 cuts of beef, poultry, lamb, and pork.

Rioz also has a full service bar that offers traditional Brazilian inspired drinks as well as classic cocktails, a friendly word of advice, come hungry and use your coaster wisely!

Our next stop is at Wild Wing Café on Highway 17 in Barefoot Landing, North Myrtle Beach. Whether you’re looking to catch the game on one of their many TVs, grabbing a few drinks or having a family dinner, Wild Wing Cafe is the perfect spot for a delicious meal and a good time. After a long day on the golf course, there is no better place to be than at Wild Wing Cafe, the atmosphere is fun, very relaxed and the beverages are always refreshing.
