Martins Restaurant is located inside Long Bay Resort and has been open for over twenty years. Martin Dobr who opened and operates the restaurant has been in the culinary business for 40 years. He has worked all over the world and has even cooked for the stars. Martins Restaurant seats 150 patrons and they serve delicious breakfast fare as well as upscale dinners. They offer a variety of items on their menu that will please even the toughest palates. The Wienerschnitzel is the best within 1,000 miles. They also serve steak, fresh seafood, duck, veal, and vegetarian dishes. All of the dishes on the menu are prepared “specially for you”, which is Martin’s slogan. They prepare Caesar salad and Cherry Jubilee or Banana Foster table side.
Martins Restaurant serves breakfast 7 days a week from 7 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. in the summer and for the golf season they are open from 5:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. Why not try the Grand Buffet? It includes all the classic breakfast options as well as an omelet bar. Their breakfast menu also features a list of classic breakfast items including bacon, sausage, eggs, pancakes, waffles, French toast, and omelets. As stated earlier, the Wienerschnitzel is the best around. Dishes like chicken Capri, roasted duckling, veal Cromley, and veal Francese are not that far behind though. There is also an early bird menu that is a three-course dinner with beef, fresh seafood, chicken, and veal options as well. All main entree options come with a soup of the day and a salad. If you’re looking for something on the lighter side, try their Ocean View Café on the second floor of the resort.
