Fazio Course is nicely located in North Myrtle Beach. It is directly behind Barefoot Landing. Barefoot Landing offers a lot of shops, dining, and entertainment. Golfers will quickly forget the hustle and bustle of the city when they cross the swing bridge and enter the resort. Barefoot Resort offers 4 amazing golf courses. They are always in great condition. Each one of the golf courses is nicely laid out. The Barefoot courses were designed by some of the best golf course architects in the world. They are Greg Norman, Davis Love III, Tom Fazio and Pete Dye.
The Barefoot Fazio Course is a low country style golf course. Fazio took full advantage of the natural terrain. He has created a masterpiece in a beautiful setting. This golf course provides guests with a nice round of golf. The golf course has a lot of natural grass and waste areas. There are 5 sets of tees. This allows all golfers to enjoy a fair test of golf. Bunkers on the Barefoot Fazio Course have been carefully placed. Accurate tee shots will leave you with easier approach shots. There are a lot of water hazards on the Barefoot Fazio Course. However, not all of them come into play, this makes the golf course more player friendly.
The Barefoot Fazio Course can be real tricky. Fazio has made good use of the natural contours of the land. There is also an abundance of tree cover. Hitting fairways on this course will help to make approach shots easier. The greens are Champion UltraDwarf Bermuda grass. They are always in great condition. Their pace is perfect and they roll smooth. The Barefoot Fazio course offers a fair test of golf. It combines beauty with challenge. The Fazio Course sits between the Dye and Love Courses. The golf course is short at 6,834 yards. However, it plays to a par of 71. The Fazio course will remind you of a European course. It does not return to the clubhouse after 9 holes. Speaking of the clubhouse. Theirs is gorgeous and is 35,000-square-foot.
Barefoot has a great practice facility. The driving range is huge at 30 acres. It is fully lit so guests can practice at night. Their is also a nice short game area. The putting green is a good place to learn the speed of the greens. There is also a full restaurant and bar located at the driving range. The Barefoot range also has a Golfsmith retail store with a Callaway Performance Center. It is the perfect place to try some new clubs or shop for some accessories.
